Spooky instrumental hip-hop EDM soundscape shit. Lots of eerie beats - but not beats that necessarily would work with an emcee, rather those that stand on their own - overlayed with a crazy array of audio samples from movies, TV, news reports, etc.
Is it sequenced really nice as a complete album, although it def helps to be in the right frame of mind. But there's a lot of dope stuff here that would work as segue tracks on a horrocore rap mix or even alongside some minimalist black metal. Imagine a Mr. Dibbs / Massive Attack collabo set at 3am in some field where there's a pentagram burning in the grass and Ricky Kasso walks up to you in his longsleeve AC/DC tee and hands you a leak blunt. Tripped out and straight-up scary. I dig it.

This is hip-hop in the sense that there are fat beats, samples, and spooky-assed bad trip flow but only the undead are going to bust moves at this freak show. Jake Juan (Evil Hippee) is part of the CCCRRCCSSLLRRKKRRSSS crew and it shows in the damaged weirdness that seeped out all over my speakers. Nodding along to the dope beats allows the murderous intent to creep in unnoticed. I found myself standing in the middle of the room staring at my left speaker with a bent chef's knife in my hand; cat's backs arched and hissing. Dope.
